Tilta HDA-T18-PMB Power Module Mounting Bracket For Hydra Alien Pro
Tilta HDA-T18-PMB Power Module Mounting Bracket For Hydra Alien Pro | A dedicated mount for your power module
On a Hydra Alien Pro setup where you want the power module mounted as part of the rig, the Tilta HDA-T18-PMB is the bracket for that role. It’s a tripod accessory, and its name identifies its purpose: mounting a power module for the Hydra Alien Pro. For operators assembling that named system, it provides the bracket part of the arrangement, rather than the module that supplies power. That distinction is useful when you’re planning the components of a rig: this listing is for the mounting bracket, not the power module itself. Its intended context is also clear from the model designation, which ties it to the Hydra Alien Pro rather than describing a universal bracket. If you’re preparing that system and want to include a power module in the setup, the HDA-T18-PMB is the specifically named Tilta accessory to consider. In short, it’s a mounting part for a defined setup.
Specialist Note
The nuisance this part addresses is having a power module to include in a Hydra Alien Pro setup, but no bracket identified for mounting it. I’d treat the HDA-T18-PMB as a system-specific mounting piece: its bracket form tells you it’s there to mount the module, while the Hydra Alien Pro designation makes its intended rig clear. That suits an operator assembling the Hydra Alien Pro with a power module included, or returning to the same arrangement for repeat setups. Use it as the mounting part in that configuration; it isn’t a replacement power source. One practical caveat: the name ties it to Hydra Alien Pro, so I wouldn’t choose it as a generic bracket for another rig.
