Tilta TK-MLP-dl-SG Khronos Mini LED Panel Daylight - Space Grey
Tilta TK-MLP-dl-SG Khronos Mini LED Panel Daylight - Space Grey | Added support for handheld video
The key point to know is that this product is identified by the supplier as a shoulder rig, while its title calls it a Khronos Mini LED Panel. If you're shopping for a rig, its stated purpose is straightforward: to give the camera extra support during handheld video work. That makes it relevant to videographers who want support while filming without setting up a tripod. The title also specifies Daylight and Space Grey, but the available product information doesn't explain the panel’s function or how it relates to the rig. I’d treat the shoulder-rig description as the reliable guide to its intended use, rather than assume features from the LED Panel wording. If your priority is more support for handheld filming, that’s the job this product is listed to do.
For handheld filming
A shoulder rig is intended to support the camera while you work handheld. In practical terms, consider it for video situations where you want that additional support as you film, rather than relying on a tripod setup. The product information gives no further details about how the rig is adjusted or configured, so there’s no basis for promising a particular shooting position or setup. The intended use, though, is clear: handheld video with extra camera support.
Specialist Note
The Tilta TK-MLP-dl-SG is best suited to one job: adding support for handheld video work. As a shoulder rig, it’s aimed at filming with the camera supported on the rig, rather than treating this as a lighting product based on the title alone. I’d consider it if you regularly shoot handheld and want that extra support as part of your setup. The name does include “Mini LED Panel Daylight,” so there’s an apparent mismatch with the supplier’s description; I wouldn’t assume panel functions or rig details that aren’t confirmed. My advice is to judge it by its stated role as a shoulder rig.
