Ulanzi ST-07 Phone Holder Plastic w/ Cold Shoe Black
Ulanzi ST-07 Phone Holder Plastic w/ Cold Shoe Black | Keep your phone positioned in a cold-shoe setup
Your phone can stay supported as part of a camera setup, rather than being held in your hand. The Ulanzi ST-07 is a black plastic phone holder with a cold shoe, suited to anyone who wants to include a phone in a setup built around that fitting. It’s most useful when you want the phone in a set position while you work with your equipment, such as for a phone-based video or a two-device filming arrangement. The cold shoe gives the holder a way to join that kind of setup; the holder itself is for supporting the phone. Its straightforward purpose makes it easy to understand what you’re buying, without suggesting extra functions the product name doesn’t promise. If your setup already has a place for a cold shoe, this gives you a dedicated holder for bringing your phone into it.
Specialist Note
The Ulanzi ST-07 is best at holding a phone as part of a cold-shoe setup. For phone video, place the handset in the holder and use its cold shoe to include it in a rig arranged around that fitting; for a two-device filming setup, it gives the phone a supported place alongside your other equipment. The plastic construction keeps this a simple holder rather than a metal-bodied piece of gear. One practical point: you’ll need a cold-shoe position in your setup already—the holder doesn’t create one. I’d consider it when the job is simply to bring a phone into that arrangement.
