Wooden Camera 900200 Director's Monitor Cage V3 Battery Plate Swing Away
Wooden Camera 900200 Director's Monitor Cage V3 Battery Plate Swing Away | Swing-away battery access for your monitor cage
The defining decision here is the swing-away battery plate: it can move aside when you need access around a Director's Monitor Cage V3. That makes this a focused rigging accessory for people building or adjusting a director's monitor setup, rather than a general-purpose power accessory. The product name ties it specifically to the V3 cage, so its role is clear: give the battery plate a swing-away position as part of that setup. It’s relevant when you’re arranging a monitor rig for a director’s viewing position or changing the layout around the cage during setup. The practical appeal is in how the plate moves, not in any claim about battery capacity or power performance. If your rig is built around the Director's Monitor Cage V3 and you want the battery plate to swing away, this is the specific part to consider.
Specialist Note
The plate swings aside when you need room around the cage, so you can adjust the rig without treating the battery position as fixed. I’d look at this for a director-monitor setup where access around the cage matters during placement or readjustment. The V3 in the name is important: this is for the Director's Monitor Cage V3, not a universal plate to add to any monitor rig. And because it’s a battery plate, its job is to support that part of the setup, rather than to act as a charger or power source. It’s a nicely specific accessory; its usefulness depends on building around the named cage.
