Wooden Camera A00025 Universal Micro Battery Plate V-Mount
Wooden Camera A00025 Universal Micro Battery Plate V-Mount | A compact link for V-Mount power
Without a dedicated battery plate, a V-Mount power setup can leave you working out where the battery belongs in your rig. The Wooden Camera A00025 Universal Micro Battery Plate is an adapter-category accessory built around that job: it brings a micro battery plate format and a V-Mount designation together in one product. It’s aimed at people assembling camera rigs who want the battery-plate part of their setup to be a defined component, rather than an improvised arrangement. The “Universal” name may sound broad, but it shouldn’t be read as a promise that the plate fits every camera or rig. Its most useful role is as a specific part of a planned V-Mount power arrangement. If you’re organising a compact build, the Micro designation is the detail to consider first; the physical fit and connections still need to suit the rest of your setup.
Specialist Note
Does the A00025 give you a compact V-Mount battery-plate option? Yes: that’s the useful distinction in its name. The “Micro” format points toward a smaller plate concept, which makes it worth considering when you’re trying to keep a camera build tidy rather than add a larger-looking battery component. Its V-Mount designation also gives your power plan a clear starting point: treat it as the plate component in a rig designed around V-Mount power. I’d look at it for a compact camera build or a carefully organised studio rig. One honest caveat: “Universal” doesn’t tell you that it will physically fit every setup, so make sure the mounting arrangement and power connections match your rig.
