Wooden Camera Air EVF MT (19mm Tube Clamp Over 15mm LW Rods)
Wooden Camera Air EVF MT (19mm Tube Clamp Over 15mm LW Rods) | Mount an EVF on 15mm LW rods
An EVF mount can be awkward to place when the support on your rig uses a different tube size from the rods available to you. The Wooden Camera Air EVF MT addresses that specific setup: its 19mm tube clamp is designed to go over 15mm lightweight rods. It’s a tripod accessory for camera operators who want to add an EVF mount to a rig built around that rod spacing, rather than rethink the whole support arrangement. The name identifies it as an EVF mount, while the clamp and rod dimensions make its intended fit clear. That makes it most relevant when you’re assembling or adjusting a camera rig and need this particular tube-to-rod connection. It’s a focused piece of hardware, not a general-purpose tripod head or an all-in-one support system. If your rig uses 15mm LW rods, this is the detail to consider first.
Specialist Note
“Will this fit a rig with 15mm lightweight rods?” Yes—the Air EVF MT is specified for a 19mm tube clamp over 15mm LW rods. That’s the key detail: the clamp is sized for the tube, while the stated rod standard tells you the support setup it’s intended to work with. I’d consider it for an EVF position on a camera rig already built around those rods, especially if you want to keep the support arrangement consistent while adding the mount. One point to keep in mind is that the 19mm clamp and 15mm rod dimensions are both essential; this isn’t a universal clamp for other tube or rod sizes.
