The Samyang AF 35mm F/1.8 for Sony FE represents a compact, lightweight design that features a bright maximum aperture of f/1.8. Its optical layout includes two extra-low dispersion elements as well as two aspherical elements, which collectively reduce both chromatic and spherical aberrations, enhancing accuracy in color, sharpness, and brightness. Additionally, the lens comes with Ultra Multi-Coating designed to lower flare and ghosting, providing higher contrast when shooting in intense light situations.
The lens' linear STM autofocus motor works synchronously with the AF systems of Sony cameras, providing quick, noiseless, and precise focusing. Manual focus is also accessible for more sophisticated control. Furthermore, a custom switch allows intuitive adjustments to a variety of camera and exposure settings by rotating the focus ring of the lens.
