ACT 7m High Performance VGA + Audio Connection Cable Male-M

ACT 7m High Performance VGA + Audio Connection Cable Male-M | Connect VGA and audio over a 7m cable

Without a cable that matches both connection points, joining equipment for VGA and audio can turn into a hunt for the right leads. This ACT connection cable is a 7-metre, male-to-male cable for a setup that uses VGA and audio connections. It suits anyone who needs a longer run between two matching connection points, rather than a short link placed right beside the equipment. The useful detail is the length: seven metres gives you room to route the cable along a wall or around furniture, though the route itself will affect how much slack remains. Its name calls it “High Performance”; that’s the product designation, not a measurement I’d use to compare image or sound quality. If your setup calls for VGA and audio and male connectors at both ends, this is the specific cable to consider.

Planning the cable route

For a tidy installation, measure the path the cable will actually take, not just the straight-line distance between the two connection points. A route around a desk, behind equipment or along a wall can use more cable than expected. The 7-metre length gives you a clear figure to work with; leave enough room for the route and for the cable to reach each end without being pulled tight. This is a straightforward connection cable, so the key question is whether the VGA and audio connections in your setup match the cable’s male-to-male format. It isn’t a general-purpose cable for every kind of connection. If those connection types and the length suit your arrangement, it gives you one clearly specified option for making the link.
