ACT Black 5.0m U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors

ACT Black 5.0m U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors | A five-metre link for wired network setups

ACT Black 5.0m U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors is a 5.0-metre CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors at its ends. It suits anyone setting up a wired network connection who needs more reach than a short lead provides. The cable’s U/UTP construction identifies it as unshielded twisted pair, and its black finish gives it a low-key look among other cables. Its main practical advantage is the stated length: five metres can help when connected equipment isn’t right beside the point where the cable needs to go. This is a straightforward cable for making a network connection; there’s no need to read more into the name than that. If you’re planning a run, consider where the cable will travel so you can judge whether five metres gives you enough room.

CAT6 and RJ45 describe the cable category and connector type named in the product title. As a patch cable, it’s intended to link network equipment in a wired setup. The unshielded U/UTP design is part of its description, rather than a claim about shielding or performance beyond what the title tells us. Its length may suit a route between equipment that has to be placed apart, though the actual path matters: a cable following a longer route can use more length than the straight-line distance suggests. The black colour is a simple detail, but it can help the cable blend into a darker setup. For a tidy installation, plan the path before connecting the cable and avoid assuming that a particular length will suit every room or layout.
