Angelbird AV Pro SE CFexpress B V4 MK2 4TB

Angelbird AV Pro SE CFexpress B V4 MK2 4TB | Ample space for your files

Instead of juggling several smaller cards, this Angelbird gives you 4TB of CFexpress Type B storage in one card. It’s for photographers and filmmakers whose work creates a substantial amount of data and who want a single, clearly labelled capacity to plan around. The 4TB figure is the key detail here: it tells you how much storage the card offers, but not how many images or minutes of footage that will mean in your own workflow. File sizes and camera settings affect that, so it’s sensible to base your decision on the way you actually shoot. The name also identifies this as the AV Pro SE CFexpress B V4 MK2 model. If you already work with CFexpress Type B media, the format is clear; if you’re choosing a card for a particular camera, make sure its required card format matches. This is a capacity-focused option, rather than a product description that makes claims about transfer speeds or compatibility.

Planning around 4TB

A card with this much capacity can simplify how you think about storage on a busy shoot: there’s a substantial amount of space available on one card, rather than a collection of smaller capacities to keep track of. That can suit a workflow where you prefer to keep a large body of work together while shooting. It doesn’t remove the need for a backup plan, and it doesn’t tell you how long a card will last during a session; those details depend on the files you create and how you manage them. The honest point is that 4TB is a large capacity, so it’s worth considering how you prefer to organise and copy your files before choosing it.
