Cartoni AH976 Telescopic Pan Bar + Attachment - Right
Cartoni AH976 Telescopic Pan Bar + Attachment - Right | Position pan control on the right
As you reframe a shot from a tripod, a pan bar gives you a handle to guide the movement instead of reaching directly for the head. The Cartoni AH976 is a right-side telescopic pan bar with an attachment, made as a tripod accessory. Its telescopic design lets you adjust the bar’s reach to suit where you’re standing and how you want to operate the tripod. The right-hand orientation matters when you want your pan control on that side of the setup. It’s aimed at tripod users who want a dedicated handle for making pans and reframing, rather than a standalone support or camera accessory. Its most useful role is straightforward: provide a place to guide the tripod head by hand, with the reach adjustable to your working position.
Specialist Note
The telescopic section changes the bar’s reach, which can make it easier to place your hand where you want it before starting a pan. There’s one pan bar here, and its right-hand orientation is the detail to match to your preferred operating side. I’d consider it for deliberate reframing across a scene or following a subject with a tripod-mounted camera: set the reach for a comfortable grip, then guide the head with the bar. The attachment is part of the named combination, rather than a pan bar on its own. Keep in mind that it’s a hand-operated control; you still make the movement by moving the tripod head.
