Caruba Camouflage Veldstoel

Caruba Camouflage Veldstoel | A folding seat for long observations

Caruba Camouflage Veldstoel is a folding field stool with three aluminium legs, made for people who spend long stretches watching from one spot. It gives birdwatchers and other observers a seat to take along rather than having to remain standing during a long session. Its camouflage finish is suited to outdoor observation, while the folding design keeps the stool portable between locations. Use it during a quiet wait for birds, or set it up at a fixed observation point where you expect to stay seated for a while. It’s also a tripod accessory, so it belongs alongside the practical support gear you bring for time spent observing outdoors. A carry strap and a storage bag are included, giving you two ways to handle the stool between use and storage. The design is straightforward: a compact folding seat for stationary viewing, rather than a piece of camera support equipment.

A seat for field observation

• Folding stool: The seat folds for transport and storage, then opens into a place to sit. That makes it relevant for observation sessions where you’ll remain in one location.
• Three aluminium legs: The legs use aluminium, giving the stool its specified lightweight metal construction. Three points of support form the base of this simple field seat.
• Camouflage colour: Its camouflage appearance suits outdoor observation, including birdwatching. It keeps the stool visually in keeping with field gear.
• Carry strap: The strap gives you a way to carry the folded stool between locations. It’s useful when your observation point is away from where you’ve parked or set down other equipment.
• Storage bag included: Put the stool away in its supplied bag after use. The bag gives you a dedicated place to keep it when it’s being transported or stored.
• Tripod accessory: Caruba classifies this product as a tripod accessory. Its purpose here is to provide a portable seat for observation, not to support a camera.

Folded length and load

For carrying and storage, the stool has a transport length of 60 cm, so allow for that length when packing it. Its maximum load is 100 kg. Those figures are useful to keep in mind when planning an observation kit and checking that the stool is appropriate for the person who’ll use it.
