Caruba Duo USB Car Charger 4.8 Amp Black | Keep USB devices powered in the car

The Duo USB layout is the defining feature of the Caruba Duo USB Car Charger: it gives you two USB connections from one in-car charger. It suits drivers who want to charge more than one USB device during a journey, without relying on a single connection. Use it for a phone and another USB-powered device, with each connected through its suitable USB cable. The 4.8 Amp rating gives you a clear current figure to consider when choosing a charger for your devices. Its job is simple and specific: provide USB charging from the car, rather than act as a power source you can take with you. Finished in black, it has a discreet look among your car accessories. For camera owners, it can be part of a travel kit, but use it with a camera only if that camera supports USB charging.

On-the-road use

Think about which devices you want to charge on the same journey, then connect them to the Duo USB charger with their appropriate cables. That makes it handy when you’d otherwise have to take turns using one car charger. It’s a focused accessory for charging in the car, not a substitute for a portable battery once you’re away from the vehicle.

Specialist Note

4.8 Amp gives you a clear charging-current rating to weigh against the needs of your USB devices. I’d consider this Caruba when you regularly travel with two devices that need USB power: its Duo design gives you two charging connections at the car, so you can connect a phone and another USB device together using their suitable cables. That’s particularly handy on a drive when you want both available on arrival. It’s a straightforward fit for someone who wants in-car charging rather than a power bank. Just bear in mind that it needs the car for its power; it won’t keep charging once you leave the vehicle.
