Cokin Creative 3 Full ND Filters Kit U300-01 (L-Serie)
Cokin Creative 3 Full ND Filters Kit U300-01 (L-Serie) | Make motion blur in bright light
To create motion blur in daylight, you need to control how much light reaches the camera while keeping the shutter open longer. The Cokin Creative 3 Full ND Filters Kit U300-01 (L-Serie) is a set of three full ND filters for that kind of exposure control. It suits photographers who want flowing water, blurred traffic or other movement to read as a soft trace instead of a frozen moment. A full ND filter reduces light across the image, so it can also help when you want to use a wider aperture in bright conditions. The creative effect depends on the scene and exposure you choose; this product title doesn’t specify the filters’ individual strengths, so I wouldn’t promise a particular shutter speed or amount of blur. If you already work with Cokin’s L-Serie, the series name is an important part of identifying this kit.
What a full ND filter lets you do
Because the light reduction covers the whole frame, a full ND filter is suited to changing exposure across a scene rather than darkening just one part of it. That’s useful when the subject and background both need the same exposure adjustment. For a stream or waterfall, for example, a longer exposure can turn moving water into a continuous-looking blur. With a moving vehicle, the same principle can leave a streak of motion. The filter doesn’t create the effect on its own: shutter speed and the movement in front of the camera shape the final image.
Specialist Note
The Cokin Creative 3 Full ND Filters Kit is a straightforward way to pursue motion blur when daylight would otherwise push you toward a faster shutter speed. The three-filter count gives you a set to work with, while the full ND format reduces light over the whole frame; that’s the approach I’d consider for softening a stream or drawing a traffic trail through a scene. It suits photographers who want to shape exposure for a deliberate effect, rather than darken only the sky. The L-Serie designation is worth keeping in view when you’re identifying this particular kit. Just bear in mind that the title gives no individual filter strengths, so I wouldn’t advise on a specific shutter speed.
