Desq Reversible Lens Hood 67mm Tulip Model w/ Bajonet
Desq Reversible Lens Hood 67mm Tulip Model with Bayonet | Helps shade against stray light
Without a hood, light coming in from the side can reach the front of a lens and reduce contrast. This Desq tulip hood is designed to shade the lens from that off-axis light, making it useful outdoors when bright sky or a light source sits just outside your frame. Its petal-shaped profile is intended to provide shade while keeping the image area clear. The reversible design lets you turn the hood around when it’s not in use, for a more compact position on the lens. It’s a practical option for photographers who want to manage stray light without changing their camera settings. This model is specified as 67mm and has a bayonet fitting, so the lens needs to accept the matching hood connection. The finish is black.
Specialist Note
“Will this Desq hood fit any 67mm lens?” No—the bayonet connection needs to match too. The 67mm designation identifies this version, while the bayonet describes how it attaches, so look for a lens that accepts the corresponding hood mount. The reversible design is handy if you want to keep the hood with the lens between pictures: turn it around for storage, then return it to its working position outdoors. For a portrait or landscape with bright light just outside the frame, keep that light off the front of the lens and let the tulip shape shade the sides. A bright source inside the picture can still cause flare, so framing matters.
