Eminent White 2 Meter U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors

Eminent White 2 Meter U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors | A short cable for a neat network run

The Eminent White 2 Meter U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors is a two-metre CAT6 patch cable, built for anyone who needs a short wired network connection. It has RJ45 connectors at the ends and a white finish, so you can choose it for a connection where that length and colour suit the setup. The cable’s practical strength is its straightforward job: linking network equipment over a short distance without a long cable to route. It’s a sensible option for a desk, shelf or nearby equipment position when you’ve measured the route and two metres will reach. There’s no need to make this more complicated than it is; the useful details are the cable type, length and connector style. If you’re comparing patch cables, start with the distance between the two connection points, then allow enough slack for the route you’ll actually take.

Choosing a cable length

A patch cable that’s longer than the route requires can leave extra cable to manage, while a short one may not reach comfortably. Measure along the intended path rather than estimating a straight line between devices, especially if the cable needs to follow a desk edge or pass around furniture. Keep a little room for the way the connected equipment is positioned; a cable pulled tight can be awkward to work around when you move something. At two metres, this Eminent cable is aimed at a relatively close connection, not a long run across a room. The white finish may also suit a light-coloured workspace or make this cable easier to pick out in a group. Those are practical considerations, not performance claims: choose it because the length, colour and connector type suit the route you have in mind.
