Falcon Eyes Octabox + Honeycomb SR-SBQH1000+OB9HC

Falcon Eyes Octabox + Honeycomb SR-SBQH1000+OB9HC | More controlled light

The light in your pictures can feel more contained, with less spill reaching areas you’d rather keep darker. The Falcon Eyes Octabox + Honeycomb SR-SBQH1000+OB9HC combines an octabox with a honeycomb grid, giving you a softbox-style light source with a grid to help direct its spread. It suits photographers who want to shape light for portraits or other setups where the background and surrounding space matter. The useful part is the combination: the octabox provides the softbox format, while the honeycomb is there to limit how widely the light spreads. That gives you a more considered starting point than simply lighting a subject and letting the light spill freely. It’s a specific light-shaping accessory, so its appeal is in controlling the look of a setup rather than adding another kind of light source.

What the combination is for

An octabox is a softbox with an eight-sided face; a honeycomb grid is a mesh that narrows the angle at which light travels. Together, those terms describe a setup intended to soften light while keeping it more directed. That can help when you want light on your subject without as much of it falling onto nearby areas. The grid doesn’t replace the octabox: each part has a different role in shaping the light. Think of it as a way to bring both qualities into one light-shaping arrangement, rather than a separate light source or a general-purpose camera accessory. The product name identifies the combination clearly, which is handy when you’re choosing between light modifiers for a particular look.
