Falcon Eyes Synchrokabel SC-6350 6.3mm X 5 M
Falcon Eyes Synchrokabel SC-6350 6.3mm X 5 M | Fire off-camera flash with a wired connection
For portraits and product shots, a cable-triggered off-camera flash lets you place the light away from the camera and shape how it falls on your subject. The Falcon Eyes Synchrokabel SC-6350 is a flash trigger cable with a 6.3 mm specification and a 5 m length. It suits photographers who want a direct, wired way to fire a flash, particularly in a portrait corner or tabletop setup where the light needs some space from the camera. The five-metre reach gives you room to adjust the light’s position as you work. For a product photograph, try placing the flash to one side and shifting its angle to change the highlights and shadows. For a portrait, moving the flash off-axis can give the face more shape. The cable’s job is straightforward: trigger an off-camera flash. Its length sets how far you can position that light, so plan your setup around the available reach.
Specialist Note
The five-metre run is the practical detail I’d focus on: it gives you room to place the flash off to the side while framing a portrait, without keeping the light right beside the camera. The 6.3 mm size matters at the connection point, so match it to the socket in your flash-trigger setup. For a tabletop product shot, I’d start with the flash beside the subject, then move it around the object to choose where the shadow falls. For a portrait, move the light off-axis and adjust its angle to give the face more shape. This cable suits a fixed or carefully arranged setup. Its honest trade-off is that your flash position is tied to the cable’s reach, so it’s less convenient if you need to move around freely. Keep the cable routed clear of your framing and working path.
