Filmsticks ClapperBoard Medium Kit (European Eition)

Filmsticks ClapperBoard Medium Kit (European Edition) | A clear visual cue for each take

Mark a take on camera and give the editor a visible cue to match with the sound: the Filmsticks ClapperBoard Medium Kit (European Edition) is a clapperboard kit for that straightforward job. It suits film crews and video makers who want takes to be easier to identify when reviewing footage or putting a sequence together. The name specifies a Medium kit and a European edition; beyond that, the useful thing to know is its role on set, rather than any unverified claim about its construction or contents. A clapperboard is most helpful when a shoot has multiple takes and the crew needs a clear reference for each one. The clap also gives a sharp point in time that can help line up recorded sound and picture. It’s a simple piece of set communication: slate the scene and take, show it to camera, then clap. This kit is for that familiar workflow, not a substitute for planning how your team labels footage.

A practical set reference

On a busy shoot, a short, readable slate can save time later. The camera team gets a visual marker in the recording, while the person handling sound can use the clap as a sync point. Those cues are especially useful when footage is reviewed away from the set, or when several takes need to be compared. The clapperboard itself doesn’t decide how a production names scenes or organises files; crews still need to keep their slating consistent. That’s the honest appeal here: it gives the team a familiar way to make each take identifiable in the footage. Choose it for a production that uses a clapperboard in its workflow and wants the Medium kit identified in the product name.
