Godox LED1000 Daylight Duo Panel Kit

Godox LED1000 Daylight Duo Panel Kit - 4400 lux at one metre

Instead of shaping daylight from a window or moving a single lamp between setups, the Godox LED1000 Daylight Duo Panel Kit gives you two continuous-light panels, each rated at 4400 lux at one metre. Each panel uses 1,024 LEDs and has a 5600K daylight colour temperature, so you can see the light on your subject as you work. For a video interview, that steady output gives you a pair of sources to position around the speaker. For portrait work, the two panels can light a subject from different positions, while the barn doors help control where the light falls. And for tabletop video or product photography, the adjustable output lets you reduce the light from full power down to 10% rather than changing the distance to manage brightness. The kit is a useful studio starting point when you need two lights and stands together, plus a bag for transport. Mains power is included as an option, and the panels can also run from optional Sony BP-L series batteries. One detail to plan for: the RC-A5 remote is optional, not part of the listed kit contents.

Highlights

• Adjustable output: Set each panel anywhere from 10% to full power. That range is handy when you need to bring a light level down for a close subject or balance the two panels without changing their positions.
• Daylight colour with filters: The panels are rated at 5600K, and two filters are supplied for changing the light’s tone. That gives you another way to adjust the look of the illumination for a scene.
• Barn doors and tilting bracket: Four leaves on each light let you direct the beam or keep light off part of a subject. The bracket attaches to a stand and allows the panel to be tilted into position.
• Two ways to power the panels: Use the supplied mains cable or optional Sony BP-L series batteries. Battery power is useful when a mains connection isn’t available at the lighting position.
• Remote control is optional: The RC-A5 operates at distances of up to 20 metres and takes two AAA batteries. It’s sold separately, so it isn’t included among the kit contents below.
• Two stands in the kit: Each Caruba LS-8 stand has a universal spigot fitting with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threaded connections. The spigot adapter can also be fitted to either side of the stand.
• Carry bag included: The Godox CB-10 is part of the supplied kit. Its soft interior and padded dividers protect equipment while it’s packed for transport.

Good to know

The CB-10 is sized to carry up to three LED panels, along with their yokes and connection cables, so the two-panel kit leaves room for another compatible panel. The LS-8 stands have four sections and clamp locks; folded, each has a transport length of 86.5 cm. That’s a useful measurement to consider when planning how the stands will travel with the kit.
