Goldbuch Orchid Mood Spiral Album 22x16 Purple (Gold Spiral)

Goldbuch Orchid Mood Spiral Album 22x16 Purple (Gold Spiral) | A considered home for favourite prints

For keeping printed photographs together in a personal collection, an album gives favourite images a place to return to beyond a phone screen. The Goldbuch Orchid Mood Spiral Album measures 22 x 16 and pairs a purple finish with a gold spiral. Its name has a floral feel, while the purple-and-gold combination brings a little character to the album without taking attention away from the photographs. It suits someone gathering pictures from a trip, keeping family moments in one place, or putting together a thoughtful gift. I’d choose it for a selected group of prints rather than an ongoing archive: the title gives a clear size and look, and that’s enough to picture the kind of keepsake it can become. The spiral format makes it a straightforward album to browse when you want to revisit those images.

A personal collection, put together your way

Albums feel most personal when there’s a thread connecting the photographs. You could bring together images from one occasion, collect pictures of someone important to you, or choose a few moments from a longer stretch of time. There’s no need to make the selection feel formal; a small group of pictures with meaning can be more enjoyable to look through than a collection chosen just to fill space. This album can also be a nice starting point for a gift: pick the photographs first, then arrange them in an order that tells the story as you remember it. The result is something you can hand to someone and browse together, rather than a set of images left on a screen. Let the photographs guide what goes in.
