H&Y RevoRing ND3-1000+CPL Filter - MK? 67-82mm - White Colour
H&Y RevoRing ND3-1000+CPL Filter - MK? 67-82mm - White Colour | Control light and reflections with one filter
Bright conditions can leave you choosing between a shutter speed that’s too fast for the look you want and reflections that distract from the subject. This H&Y RevoRing filter brings ND3-1000 and CPL filtering together, so you can reduce incoming light while also using a polarizing effect to manage reflections. It’s aimed at photographers who want both kinds of control in one filter, particularly when working outdoors with moving water, reflective surfaces or bright scenes. The stated 67–82mm range makes it relevant to lenses within that size range. Use the ND function when you want more room to lengthen exposure in daylight; use the CPL effect when reflections are competing with what you’re trying to show. It’s a specialised tool rather than a general-purpose filter, but combining these functions can make a two-filter setup simpler to work with.
Specialist Note
The 67–82mm range is specific, so this isn’t a one-size-fits-every-lens purchase. Within that range, the appeal is having ND3-1000 and CPL in the same filter: the ND function helps when you want a slower shutter in bright daylight, while the polarizing effect can reduce distracting reflections on water or glass. For example, use the ND control to give moving water a softer appearance, then use the CPL effect to tame surface glare. I’d point this out to someone who regularly moves between those situations and wants both effects available without carrying separate filters. The white colour is a visual detail, not a reason to expect a change in the filter’s results.
