Hahnemühle DFA Bamboo 290GSM 61cmx12m

Hahnemühle DFA Bamboo 290GSM 61cmx12m | Wide-format paper for planned prints

Hahnemühle DFA Bamboo 290GSM 61cmx12m is 290 gsm printer paper in a 61cm x 12m format. It’s for printmakers who need paper in a wide, extended length rather than a small sheet pack. The useful detail here is the combination of its stated weight and dimensions: you can judge the stock against the size and amount of printing you have in mind before you buy. The name identifies it as Hahnemühle’s DFA Bamboo paper, while the product information supplied gives no further detail about its surface or print characteristics. So I’d choose it on the basis of those clear essentials, not on an assumed finish. If your work calls for a particular paper surface or printer setting, make that a separate part of your selection. This is a straightforward option to consider when 61cm width and 12 metres of paper fit the job.

Planning around the format

Before placing an order, think through the dimensions of the prints you expect to make. The 61cm measurement gives you the stated width to plan around; the 12m length is the total length listed for this product. For a series of prints, sketching out their sizes and spacing can help you estimate how much of that length your work will use. Leave room in your plan for any trimming or layout choices you make, rather than assuming every centimetre will become part of a finished print. The 290 gsm figure is a useful point of comparison when you’re choosing paper by weight. I’d treat the name and those measurements as the dependable starting point, then match them to your own print requirements. That keeps the decision grounded in what this listing actually tells you.
