Hahnemühle DFA Photo Rag Pearl 320GSM 111.8cmx12m

Hahnemühle DFA Photo Rag Pearl 320GSM 111.8cmx12m | Wide roll for photo printing

Hahnemühle DFA Photo Rag Pearl is 320gsm photo paper in a 111.8cm-wide, 12m roll. It’s for photographers, print studios and anyone making photographic prints who needs roll stock rather than individual sheets. The wide format gives you room to plan print dimensions around a roll, while the length offers a continuous supply for a print run. The product name identifies the Pearl version; the practical appeal here is clear from the format and weight. If you regularly print at different sizes, a roll lets you cut lengths to suit each job instead of being limited to a fixed sheet size. One honest consideration: rolls need a place to be stored and some care when handling and cutting. For a workflow that already accommodates roll paper, this Hahnemühle option gives you a substantial-weight paper format to work with.

Planning around a roll

Before choosing paper for a print job, it helps to set out the finished image size and allow for any borders or trimming you want. With roll paper, you can then work out how each print will sit across the width and how much length the job calls for. That’s a more flexible way to plan than choosing from fixed sheet sizes, but it does put the cutting and layout decisions in your hands. The 111.8cm width is the key measurement to compare with your intended print sizes; the 12m length helps you estimate how much paper a project may use. If you’re ordering for a particular run, sketching the layout first can help you make better use of the roll and avoid cutting lengths by guesswork.
