Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 190GSM 91.4cmx12m | Plan larger photo prints by the roll

Hahnemühle DFA William Turner 190GSM 91.4cmx12m is a 190 gsm photo paper in a 91.4 cm-wide, 12 m roll, for photographers and printmakers planning their own output. It’s a format to consider when you want to work with a roll rather than choose individual sheets, and the stated dimensions give you a clear starting point for planning print size and paper use. The product name identifies the paper as William Turner; beyond that, I’d stick to the confirmed details rather than guess at its surface or print characteristics. If you’re comparing papers for a project, think first about the dimensions you need and how many prints you expect to make. This roll gives you a defined width and length to work with. That’s useful information for planning, even before you settle on a specific image or layout.

Planning your print layout

With roll paper, the layout is part of the decision. Before starting a print run, work out how your intended image dimensions fit within the available width, then consider how much length you’ll need for the number of prints you have in mind. This can help you decide whether the roll format suits the job and make paper use easier to plan. Keep your print dimensions and the roll’s stated measurements together when preparing a layout, especially if you’re working to a particular final size. The 190 gsm figure is also useful to have at hand when comparing paper options by weight. It’s a straightforward way to identify this version within the William Turner range, without assuming details about how it looks or behaves in a print. For a project where those qualities matter, base your choice on the paper information you can verify and the requirements of your intended output.
