Hahnemühle Lumijet Photo White Satin 42x59.4cm (A2) 20

Hahnemühle Lumijet Photo White Satin 42x59.4cm (A2) 20 | Photo prints in a generous A2 format

When you want a photograph to make an impression at a larger size, A2 gives the image room to be seen. Hahnemühle Lumijet Photo White Satin is photo paper in that format, with 20 sheets in the pack. The product name identifies its surface as White Satin; it’s a straightforward option for photographers who want to print selected images on paper made for photos. At 42x59.4cm, each sheet is substantial, so it suits portraits, landscapes and other images you’d like to present larger than a standard small print. It can also work for building a printed portfolio or making a personal display at home. The honest consideration is size: an A2 print needs a suitable place to go, and your image should have a composition that works at that scale. This pack gives you several sheets to plan and print with.

Choosing an image for A2

Think about how the picture will be viewed before you prepare it for printing. A close-up can feel very different when enlarged than it does on a screen, while a scene with plenty of detail gives viewers more to explore across the sheet. Check the framing and orientation in your image file, and decide whether you want the picture to fill the paper or leave a border around it. Those choices depend on the photograph and how you plan to present it, rather than on the paper alone. A quick look at the layout before printing can help you spot an awkward crop or an unexpected margin. With 20 sheets to work with, you can reserve the paper for images you’ve chosen carefully and keep the final print consistent with your intended presentation.
