Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 3.0 M 90dB

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 3.0 M 90dB | A three-metre link for coax antenna connections

To connect antenna equipment across a room, this cable gives you a three-metre run between a coax plug and a coax coupling. The Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 3.0 M 90dB is for anyone whose antenna setup needs that connector arrangement and a little more reach than a short lead allows. You can route it from one connection point to another without having to position them side by side. Its stated rating is 90 dB, and the cable is white, so it’s a fairly unobtrusive option along a light-coloured wall or behind furniture. The useful part here is straightforward: you know the length and the connector types before you plan the route. For an antenna connection where those details match your setup, it’s a practical cable rather than an item with extra functions to learn.

Before choosing a route, measure the path the cable will actually take, including any turns around furniture or along a wall. A straight-line measurement between the two connection points can come up short once you follow the edges of a room. At three metres, this lead suits a modest gap; it won’t be the answer if your planned route needs more length. The coax plug and coax coupling also make the direction of the connection clear, so you can compare them with the connections you need to join. I’d keep the route as simple as the room allows, rather than stretching the cable across a walking path. That makes it easier to keep the connection tidy and the cable out of the way. It’s a simple piece of kit, but getting the length and ends right saves an avoidable mismatch.
