Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling Metal Gold Plated 3.0 M 120 DB

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling Metal Gold Plated 3.0 M 120 DB | A straightforward link for antenna connections

It’s frustrating when an antenna setup needs a cable between two coaxial connections and the one to hand is too short or has the wrong ends. This Hama antenna cable has a coax plug at one end and a coax coupling at the other, giving you a direct cable link between those connections. At 3 metres, it gives you some room to route the cable between them without having to place them side by side. The connectors are metal and gold plated; the cable is black, so it’s visually understated around your equipment. Its 120 dB rating is part of the product’s stated specification. This is a practical option for someone replacing an antenna cable or arranging a connection with these coax ends. One detail to keep in mind: the 3-metre length is the cable’s reach, so allow for the route it needs to take rather than measuring only the straight-line distance.

Planning the cable route

Before connecting it, consider where the cable will run and where each end needs to meet its coax connection. A route around furniture or along a wall can use more cable than the direct gap between the two points. Keeping that path in mind helps you judge whether the available length suits your setup. It also helps avoid pulling the cable taut or leaving more slack than you want. The connector arrangement is specific: one end is a coax plug, the other a coax coupling. Match those ends to the connections in your antenna setup, then route the cable with enough room for the path you’ve chosen. That’s the useful check here; the cable’s job is simple, but the route determines how comfortably it fits.
