Hama Audio Cable 2 Cinch-Plugs - 2 Cinch-Plugs 2.5 M

Hama Audio Cable 2 Cinch-Plugs - 2 Cinch-Plugs 2.5 M | Connect audio gear across a practical gap

What makes this Hama cable straightforward is its matching pair of Cinch plugs at each end: it’s made to link audio equipment with corresponding Cinch connections, without needing a different connector arrangement. It suits anyone setting up or rearranging a simple audio connection at home, especially when the two pieces of equipment can’t sit right beside each other. The cable measures 2.5 metres, giving you some room to route it between them. Its black finish is low-key among other cables and equipment. One practical point: the distance you need depends on the route, not just the gap between the devices, so allow for corners and where the cable can run. If your equipment uses the matching connections, this is a simple cable to consider for that link.

Planning the cable run

Before you settle on where the equipment will sit, measure the path the cable needs to take. A route behind furniture or around a shelf can be longer than the straight-line distance between the two units. Keep the plugs accessible, too; it’s easier to connect or reposition equipment when you’re not pulling at a cable tucked tightly out of reach. If the route crosses an area where people walk, look for a path that keeps the cable out of the way. These small checks help you decide whether this length suits your setup before you move things into place. Match the connection type at both ends of the run, and you’ll know whether this cable is the right fit for the job.
