Hama Extension Cable 2 Cinch-Plugs - 2 Cinch-Couplingen 5.0m

Hama Cinch Extension Cable, 2 Plugs to 2 Couplings, 5.0 m | Adds reach to a paired Cinch connection

When an existing Cinch lead falls short, moving the connected equipment may be the only alternative—and that can be awkward. This Hama extension cable gives you a longer route while keeping a two-connector Cinch connection in place. One end has two Cinch plugs and the other has two Cinch couplings, so it joins a matching pair of Cinch connections as an extension rather than changing their format. At 5.0 metres, it gives you room to place connected items farther apart or guide the connection around a room. The cable is black, a low-key colour that generally blends in beside other dark leads. For a simple cable with a clear job, that’s the point: extend the run without adding a different connector style. It won’t solve a connection mismatch, but when the Cinch ends already suit your setup, it removes the need to rearrange everything just to gain a little reach.

Planning the cable run

Treat this as a lengthening link in an existing Cinch run. Place it where the current lead ends, then route the added run toward the connection point; there’s no need to replace the original lead if its plugs and sockets are otherwise suitable. It helps to plan the route before connecting, especially if the cable needs to pass behind furniture or along a wall. A relaxed path is easier to manage than one pulled tight, and it’s sensible to avoid spots where feet or chair legs could catch it. The useful question is whether an extension is the right fix: if the problem is distance, this cable addresses it; if the problem is a different connector, it won’t convert it. That straightforward limitation is worth keeping in mind. For a plain extension, the connector arrangement is the whole story.
