Hama Filter Profi Line Pol Circular Nano 62 mm
Hama Filter Profi Line Pol Circular Nano 62 mm | Reduce reflections
The Hama Filter Profi Line Pol Circular Nano 62 mm is a circular polarising filter for photographers who want more control over reflections and glare in their pictures. It’s especially useful when shooting through a shop window, photographing water, or making a blue sky look richer in a landscape. Rotate the filter to adjust the effect while you compose; the result depends on the light and your shooting angle, so it’s something to judge in the viewfinder or on screen rather than set once and forget. This filter suits anyone with a lens that takes 62 mm filters and who often photographs reflective surfaces or outdoor scenes. A polariser also reduces the light reaching the camera, so you may need to adjust your exposure. It’s a practical tool for shaping light at capture, rather than trying to remove reflections later in editing.
Specialist Note
The Hama Profi Line Pol Circular Nano 62 mm is made for taming reflections while keeping you in control of the effect. Its 62 mm size is the key detail when choosing it: it suits a lens with a matching filter thread, so check the marking on the lens before adding it to your kit. As a circular polariser, it can be turned to vary how strongly it suppresses glare. For a window display, adjust it until the reflection fades; for a landscape, turn it while watching the sky and stop where the contrast looks natural. The effect changes with your angle to the light, and the filter reduces incoming light, so allow for that when setting exposure. I’d consider it for regular outdoor or through-glass photography.
