Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano 67 mm
Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano 67 mm | A straightforward UV filter
Without a filter on the lens, there’s no added filter layer at its front; this Hama is a UV filter for photographers who want that simple, specific role in their setup. It’s the Profi Line UV Nano version, suited to someone who has already decided on a UV filter rather than a polariser or an ND filter. Its best use is straightforward: keep the filter choice focused on UV filtering, without expecting it to alter exposure or remove reflections. That can suit outdoor photography where you want a UV filter on the lens as part of your routine, while leaving exposure decisions to your camera settings and the available light. I’d treat “Nano” as part of the product name, not as a reason to expect a particular visual effect. If your aim is glare control or longer shutter speeds, this isn’t the tool for that job.
Specialist Note
I wouldn’t choose this Hama for cutting glare or extending shutter times; it’s a UV filter, not a polariser or an ND filter. The practical detail I’d check at the counter is 67 mm: your lens’s filter-thread marking needs to match, so you can avoid buying the wrong size. The UV designation tells you the specific job it’s intended for, rather than exposure effects or reflection control. It suits someone who wants this size and filter type for a simple outdoor setup. Match the 67 mm marking first, then use it for its UV-filter role without expecting it to change exposure.
