Hama Glasvezel-Network Cable LC/Apc-Plug - LC/Apc-Plug 10 GBIT/s 15 M

Hama Glasvezel-Network Cable LC/Apc-Plug - LC/Apc-Plug 10 GBIT/s 15 M | A 15-metre fibre link for 10 Gbit/s

Link network equipment in separate parts of a room with a fibre cable made for LC/APC connections. The Hama Glasvezel-Network Cable has an LC/APC plug at each end, is 15 metres long and is specified for 10 Gbit/s. That makes it relevant when you need a cable run between equipment with matching LC/APC sockets and want a clearly stated data rate. The extra length can help when the two connection points aren’t close together; it also means you’ll want to plan the route before you lay the cable. It’s a purpose-specific network cable, so the connector type matters as much as the speed figure. If your equipment uses the matching connection, this gives you a direct fibre link over a useful distance. The listed rate is the cable’s specification, not a promise about the speed of an entire network.

Choosing the right connection

For this cable to suit your setup, both ends of the link need to accept LC/APC plugs. Matching the connector is the practical first step: a cable with a different plug type won’t make the connection you need. Think through where the cable will run and where the equipment sits, so the available length works for your layout. Fibre network cables are for linking network equipment, rather than connecting a camera directly. This one is specifically identified by its LC/APC ends and 10 Gbit/s rating, which makes those details useful when comparing it with another cable or checking a network plan. There’s no need to infer more from the product name: choose it when those stated connection details and the 15-metre length fit your installation.
