Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 GBIT/s S/FTP Afgeschermd 3.00m

Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 Gbit/s S/FTP Shielded 3.00m | A short, shielded link for your network

The Hama Network Cable CAT-6A 10 Gbit/s S/FTP Shielded 3.00m is a shielded network cable marked for speeds up to 10 Gbit/s. It’s made for anyone who needs a direct wired connection between network equipment and has a three-metre distance to cover. The CAT-6A rating and S/FTP shielding are the details to look at when matching a cable to a network setup; the 3.00m length helps keep the run measured rather than leaving a long coil of spare cable. Its black colour is discreet alongside other dark cables and equipment. This is a straightforward option for a fixed connection where you’d rather use a cable than rely on a wireless link. The honest point to consider is the length: measure the route, including any turns, before deciding it’ll reach.

A measured cable run

Three metres gives you some room to position the connected equipment without making this a long cable run. That can be handy when the network connection is nearby, such as across a desk or between close points in a room. The cable’s stated 10 Gbit/s figure and CAT-6A classification make those markings easy to compare with the requirements of your intended setup. Its S/FTP designation identifies it as shielded, as also stated in the product name.

Think about where the cable will travel before choosing the length. A route around furniture or along the edge of a space may need more cable than the straight-line gap between two devices. At 3.00m, this Hama cable is best suited to a connection where that reach is enough. The black finish keeps the cable visually unobtrusive in many setups, though it’s still worth planning the route so it doesn’t cross a walkway. If the intended run is within reach, it offers a clear, wired connection option with its category, speed and shielding identified right in the name.
