Hama NiMH-Accu's AA Mignon 2500 mAh 1.2 V 4 Pcs

Hama NiMH-Accu's AA Mignon 2500 mAh 1.2 V 4 Pcs | Four rechargeable AA batteries

When a device takes AA batteries, having a charged set ready means less interruption to whatever you’re doing. The Hama NiMH-Accu's AA Mignon batteries come as a four-piece set, with a capacity rating of 2500 mAh and a voltage of 1.2 V. They’re rechargeable NiMH batteries in the familiar AA Mignon size, for people who want to use rechargeable cells in equipment designed for that battery type. The useful detail here is the combination of a clearly stated format and capacity: you can compare those figures with the requirements for your device before choosing a set. Four batteries also give you a complete group to work with when your equipment uses several AA cells at once. Just match the battery type and voltage your device calls for; a familiar size alone doesn’t establish suitability.

Understanding the ratings

AA Mignon describes the size, while NiMH identifies the battery chemistry. The 2500 mAh figure is the capacity rating, and 1.2 V is the stated voltage. Those numbers help when comparing batteries or checking the requirements printed for a piece of equipment. They aren’t a promise of a particular number of hours in use: operating time depends on the device and how it’s used. If you’re replacing cells, keep the device’s required battery type and voltage in view, rather than choosing by size alone.

For your battery drawer

A four-piece set is a straightforward way to keep the same kind of battery together, whether you’re replacing a set in one device or putting a spare set aside. Rechargeable batteries are intended to be recharged, so use a charger made for NiMH cells. Keep the batteries together as a set during regular use, and follow the charging guidance for your charger. The capacity and voltage printed for these Hama cells give you specific figures to compare; the key practical check is that your equipment calls for AA NiMH batteries at the stated voltage.
