Hama Wooden Frame Serena Black 13 X 18 cm

Hama Wooden Frame Serena Black 13 X 18 cm | A simple frame for a favourite print

The defining choice here is wood: the Hama Serena uses a wooden frame, giving a favourite photograph a simple, familiar border. Its black colour keeps the look restrained, so the picture can take the attention rather than a bright frame. Made for a 13 x 18 cm photo, it suits anyone who wants to put a print on display at home or give a photograph a more considered place than a drawer or album. That could be a family portrait, a holiday shot or a picture you keep coming back to. The honest appeal is its straightforwardness: there’s no complicated design to compete with the image. If you’re choosing a frame for a particular room, think about the photograph first; a quiet black border can work well when you want the subject and colours in the print to lead.

Choosing a photograph to display

A frame can make a small, personal print feel like part of a room. The Serena is a sensible option when you want the photograph itself to remain the focus, rather than choosing a frame with a more decorative look. Its named photo size gives you a clear starting point: choose a print in that size, then decide where you’d like to see it regularly. A portrait can make a familiar corner feel more personal; a landscape or travel photo can bring back a specific day. The black colour also gives the frame a defined outline against many light backgrounds, though the overall effect will depend on your photo and where you place it. It’s a plain, purposeful way to give one image a place of its own.
