Ilford Décor Canvas Matt Cotton 370GSM 60" 1524X15m 1ROLL

Ilford Décor Canvas Matt Cotton 370GSM 60" 1524X15m 1ROLL | Cotton canvas for wide-format prints

What sets this Ilford canvas apart is its combination of a matt surface, cotton construction and substantial 370gsm weight. It’s supplied as a wide roll, rather than as individual sheets, so it suits printmakers and photographers planning canvas prints in larger formats or in a run of different sizes. If canvas is the surface you’ve chosen for a photograph, artwork or other image, this roll gives you a continuous length to work from. The title specifies a 60-inch width (1524mm) and a 15-metre length, with one roll in the pack. That’s useful when you’d rather plan several prints from the same roll than buy separate sheets. Keep in mind that the title identifies the material and dimensions; the right choice depends on the canvas surface you want for your own work.

Planning prints from a canvas roll

Roll media calls for a little more planning than sheet paper. Think about the finished sizes you want, how many prints you intend to make, and how you’ll handle the canvas as it comes off the roll. A simple layout plan can help you use the available length sensibly and keep your print sizes consistent. This is a straightforward product to assess by its core details: Ilford Décor, matt cotton canvas and a stated weight of 370gsm. If those are the material and finish you’re looking for, the title gives you the key dimensions for deciding how it fits your planned work. There’s no need to guess at a special application from the name alone; choose it for projects where cotton canvas in a matt finish is the intended print surface. For a shop or studio producing multiple pieces, having one continuous roll can also make supply planning easier.
