Ilford Delta 3200 Prof 135 / 36 1 Cassette

Ilford Delta 3200 Prof 135 / 36 1 Cassette | For shooting when light is scarce

When the light is low and you still want to work with film, a fast film can help you make the picture rather than put the camera away. Ilford Delta 3200 Prof 135 / 36 1 Cassette is a 135-format roll with 36 exposures, named for its 3200 speed. It suits photographers drawn to available-light scenes, dim interiors or evening streets, where adding light may change the feel of the moment. You’ll have 36 frames to work with before changing rolls, so there’s room to try a scene more than once without treating every frame as disposable. The honest trade-off is that the title alone can’t tell you exactly how a particular exposure will look; the light and your exposure choices matter. If your aim is to keep making pictures when light levels drop, this roll gives you a clear place to start.

The 135 format makes this a straightforward film choice for someone already planning a 36-frame roll. I’d think of it as a film to choose for a particular kind of outing, rather than an all-purpose answer: take it when low light is part of the scene and you want to keep shooting on film. Its name gives you the key point to consider before you load a roll: Delta 3200. That makes the product easy to distinguish when you’re selecting film for a specific job. The package quantity is one cassette, a single roll to take along or keep ready for that planned shoot.
