Ilford Fine Art Smooth Pearl 5x7" - 127mm X 178mm 50 Vel

Ilford Fine Art Smooth Pearl 5x7" - 127mm X 178mm 50 Vel | A defined size for photo prints

Your photographs come out as prints in a handy 5x7-inch format, on Ilford Fine Art Smooth Pearl photo paper. It’s intended for people who want to print selected images at home or in a studio, rather than work with a large sheet size. The name tells you what you’re choosing: a smooth pearl finish, in a fine art paper range, cut to 127 x 178 mm. That makes this pack a straightforward option when you’re planning prints in this particular format. The honest limitation is the same as its appeal: it’s a specific size, so it’s best suited to photographs you want printed at 5x7 inches. If that’s the format you need, the 50-sheet pack gives you a clear quantity to plan around.

For a small, repeatable print run

A fixed paper size can make it easier to keep a set of prints consistent. Use the 5x7 format for a selection of photographs you’d like to print to the same dimensions, or simply keep a pack ready for occasional prints. The Smooth Pearl name also makes the surface choice clear before you buy: this is the smooth pearl option in Ilford’s Fine Art range. There’s no need to infer a different size from the metric measurement; 127 x 178 mm is the stated equivalent of 5x7 inches. With 50 sheets in the pack, you can plan a batch of prints without buying a larger quantity than the title specifies.
