Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Realistic Paper 175gsm 61cm x 50m

Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Realistic Paper 175gsm 61cm x 50m | Photo paper in a practical roll format

Choosing photo paper can be tricky when you want a satin finish and a roll rather than individual sheets. Ilford OmniJet Satin Photo Realistic Paper is made for that sort of print workflow: it’s photo-realistic paper in a roll format, with a satin surface. The 175gsm weight and 61cm width are useful details to weigh against the kind of prints you plan to make and the space available for handling the roll. At 50m long, there’s room for a longer run of printing without switching to a new roll straight away. This is a straightforward option for photographers, studios or print users who already know they want satin photo paper in this size. The honest point is that the format is quite specific; it makes most sense when those dimensions and a roll feed suit the way you work.

Roll paper calls for a little planning. You’ll want a place to keep it and a workflow that suits feeding and handling a continuous roll, rather than picking single sheets as you go. That’s not a special feature of this particular paper, but it’s a practical part of choosing this format. The satin finish gives you a defined surface choice, while the “photo realistic” description signals the intended print style. If those are the qualities you’re looking for, this Ilford paper gives you the key information up front: the surface, weight and roll dimensions. It’s a useful way to narrow down a paper choice without assuming that every roll will suit every printer or print setup.
