Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper 250gsm 61cm x 30m

Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper 250gsm 61cm x 30m | Satin finish in a long roll

The defining choice here is a 61cm-wide roll rather than individual sheets: it gives print makers a continuous working width for producing prints in different lengths. Ilford OmniJet Studio Satin Photo RC Paper is a satin-finish photo paper, supplied as a 30m roll and specified at 250gsm. It suits photographers, studios and print services looking for photo paper in roll form, especially when a satin surface is preferable to a glossy-looking finish. The 250gsm weight is a useful detail when choosing paper for finished prints, while the 61cm width sets the scale of work this roll can accommodate. It’s a straightforward option to consider for repeat printing or work with varied print lengths. One honest point: a 30m roll is a sizeable supply, so it makes most sense when you expect to use roll paper regularly.

Choosing this roll

Satin gives you a middle ground in surface appearance: less reflective in character than a glossy finish, but still intended for photographic prints rather than everyday document output. That can suit images destined for viewing at close range, or work where you want the paper surface to remain present without a strong gloss impression. The actual look will depend on the image and viewing conditions, so it’s worth choosing the finish for the kind of print you make most often.

The roll format is also worth considering before you settle on a paper. At 61cm wide, it’s intended for prints that need more width than a standard small sheet offers; the 30m length gives you a run of material for multiple jobs. If your work varies in length from print to print, this format leaves room to make that choice as you go. For a studio that prints often, having the paper on a roll can be a practical fit; for occasional single prints, the quantity may be more than you need.
