Ilford Textured Cotton Rag 310GSM 36" 91.4cmx15m 1ROLL

Ilford Textured Cotton Rag 310GSM 36" 91.4cmx15m 1ROLL | A textured cotton-rag roll for photo printing

Choosing photo paper by name alone can leave you unsure what will arrive: a smooth sheet, a textured surface, or a roll for a longer print run. This Ilford paper is identified as textured cotton rag, supplied as one 36-inch (91.4 cm) wide roll measuring 15 metres long. Its 310 gsm weight gives you a clear figure to compare when selecting paper for a print project. It’s suited to photographers and printmakers who want a textured cotton-rag paper in roll format, rather than a pack of individual sheets. The honest point is that the title tells you the material, surface, weight and dimensions, but not the final look of a print; that depends on the image and printing process. If those stated details match your brief, the roll gives you a substantial length of paper to work with.

Choosing this roll

The 36-inch width is the key measurement to consider when planning a print. At 91.4 cm, it gives you a wide roll format, while the 15-metre length indicates the amount of paper supplied. Those dimensions make the product easier to assess against the sizes and quantities you have in mind before you buy. It’s one roll, not a stack of pre-cut sheets, so you can plan around roll stock rather than a fixed sheet count.

“Textured Cotton Rag” is the useful description to focus on if the paper’s surface and named material matter to your project. The 310 gsm figure is another straightforward point of comparison when choosing paper. This page sticks to those details: it doesn’t make claims about printer compatibility or the appearance of the finished print. Use the dimensions and paper description to decide whether this roll is the format you need.
