The Insta360 X5 is a powerful 8K 360° action camera that takes image quality to the next level compared to the X4. Capture stunning 8K 360° footage at 30p, or switch to 5.7K at 60p with Active HDR video, or 4K at 120p for smooth slow-motion shots. That means double the frame rate of the X4. With a larger 1/1.28" sensor, a new Triple AI chip, and PureVideo mode up to 5.7K, the X5 delivers crisp, vibrant images with low noise in both bright and low-light conditions.

By default, you record in 360°, then choose your ideal framing during editing. The new InstaFrame mode, available up to 5.7K, lets you capture a 180° clip alongside your 360° video at the same time. It’s a great option when you want to share content quickly without giving up the freedom to re-edit later. If you want speed and flexibility in one camera, the X5 is ready for both.

This camera is packed with smart upgrades. It includes the new Flat and I-Log color profiles, improved audio quality thanks to a redesigned windscreen and more advanced noise-reduction processing, and built-in 6-axis stabilization for smoother footage. Helpful features such as invisible selfie stick effects and automatic license plate blurring make editing easier, while lens guards are now detected automatically. File sizes are also 20% smaller, helping you record longer. The 2400mAh battery supports up to 185 minutes of shooting in 5.7K Endurance Mode, and with PD fast charging, you can reach 80% in just 20 minutes. The X5 is also waterproof to 15 meters without a housing, and with the optional X5 dive case, you can go down to 50 meters.

Durability has also been improved. The camera features reinforced Gorilla Glass lenses that can be replaced by the user, helping reduce long-term maintenance costs.
