JJC RL RT63 RGB Video Light

JJC RL RT63 RGB Video Light | Add colour to your video lighting

For video scenes where colour is part of the picture, an RGB light gives you a way to bring coloured light into the setup. The JJC RL RT63 RGB Video Light is a continuous light for people making video who want to work with RGB lighting rather than rely only on ordinary white light. It could suit a creator filming a short piece, a product clip or a scene where the colour of the light helps set the mood. The honest point is that the name tells us what kind of light it is, but not how bright it gets or how you control it. So I’d choose it for the creative role suggested by “RGB Video Light”, not on an assumption about output or advanced controls. Think of it as a lighting option to consider when colour matters to your shot; the right result will still depend on where you place the light and how it works with the rest of your scene.

RGB lighting can help make colour an intentional part of a video image. You might use coloured light to create a particular atmosphere, add a coloured accent or change the feel of a simple setup. Those are creative aims, not preset effects promised by the product name: the result depends on the light itself, the scene and your choices while filming.

The JJC RL RT63 is described as a video light, so its purpose is continuous lighting for video rather than a flash for a still photograph. That makes it relevant when you want to consider lighting while composing a moving image. Since the title gives no detail about its controls or output, it’s sensible to base your decision on the RGB video-light category and your intended use, rather than assume a particular brightness, colour range or operating method.
