K&F Concept Magnetic Video Kit CPL+ND8.64.1000+Black Mist- 49mm
K&F Concept Magnetic Video Kit CPL+ND8.64.1000+Black Mist- 49mm | Shape light for video
Bright daylight can force you to choose between a shutter speed that feels right for video and an exposure that isn’t too bright. This K&F Concept magnetic video filter kit brings together a CPL, ND8, ND64, ND1000 and Black Mist filter in a 49mm size. The ND filters cut incoming light at three different strengths, giving you options as the light changes. A CPL can reduce reflections from surfaces such as water or glass, while the Black Mist filter gives bright highlights a softer look. The magnetic design is aimed at making filter changes more straightforward while filming. It’s suited to video makers using a lens with a 49mm filter thread who want a choice of light control and image effects in one kit. Its practical advantage is having distinct filter options rather than relying on one ND strength for every scene.
Specialist Note
Changing light can leave you stuck between an overexposed frame and a shutter speed that feels too fast for the motion. I’d use the ND filters here as separate strengths: ND8 for a modest reduction, ND64 when the sun is stronger, and ND1000 for very bright conditions. That gives you a clear choice rather than one fixed level. For reflective water or shop windows, the CPL helps tame glare; for a softer rendering of bright points of light, try the Black Mist. This suits video shooters with a 49mm-thread lens who want those looks close at hand. One limit: you do need to choose between the supplied ND strengths as conditions change.
