K&F Concept Variable ND Filter ND2-ND400 Blue Coated 67mm
K&F Concept Variable ND Filter ND2-ND400 Blue Coated 67mm | Control light in bright conditions
Bright light can force you to choose between a fast shutter and the aperture you want. The K&F Concept Variable ND Filter gives you a way to reduce the light reaching the camera, with an adjustable range from ND2 to ND400. That makes it useful when you want to try a slower shutter speed in daylight, or keep a wider aperture without the scene becoming too bright. It suits photographers and videographers who want to adjust exposure with one variable filter rather than swap between fixed strengths. The filter is specified as 67mm, so it’s for a lens with a matching filter thread. It’s a neutral-density filter, not a UV filter; the category label doesn’t change what this product is. The blue-coated finish is also part of the product’s stated description.
Where the variable range helps
For moving water in daylight, reducing the light can let you use a slower shutter speed and show more motion in the flow. For portraits outside, it can help you keep a wider aperture when the light would otherwise push exposure too high. Adjust the density to suit the scene, then set your exposure. With a variable filter, it’s sensible to check the image as you change settings, especially near the strongest end of the range.
Specialist Note
There’s a limit to what a variable filter can do: it can’t replace careful exposure, and you’ll want to check your image as you move towards the strongest setting. Still, the ND2–ND400 range is the reason I’d suggest this one when you need flexibility in changing daylight. You can reduce light for a slower shutter speed on a bright stream, or keep a wider aperture for an outdoor portrait. The 67mm size is practical only if your lens has a 67mm filter thread, so match that diameter before choosing it. The blue-coated finish gives this version a distinctive detail, while the adjustable density is what makes it useful day to day.
