Kaiser Dokaschort w/ Bag
Kaiser Dokaschort w/ Bag | A practical layer for darkroom sessions
Darkroom work can make it awkward to keep your everyday clothes out of the way while you move between tasks. The Kaiser Dokaschort w/ Bag is a darkroom apron supplied with a bag, giving you a dedicated apron for time spent working in the darkroom. It suits photographers who print or carry out other hands-on darkroom work and want an apron as part of their routine. The black colour keeps the look simple and unobtrusive in a working space. This is a straightforward choice when an apron is what you need; the product name also includes a bag, so you get both elements together. It’s best approached as a practical darkroom garment, rather than as a technical accessory with features beyond its apron-and-bag format. Add it to the kit you use for your darkroom sessions, and you have a dedicated piece of clothing for that work.
Specialist Note
For a one-person printing session, I’d keep this with the darkroom gear and put it on before settling in to work. The apron format gives you a dedicated layer for hands-on tasks, so you’re not relying on your everyday clothes as your workwear. Its black colour makes for a restrained look in the room, rather than a bright extra competing for attention. The bag is part of the product too, which makes the set more complete than an apron on its own. I’d recommend it to someone who spends regular time printing or working in a home darkroom. Just treat it as an apron and bag, not as a substitute for any specialist protection your process may require.
