Kaiser Filmspoel For Ontwikkeltank 135-126-120 And 220 Film

Kaiser Film Spool for Developing Tank, 135, 126, 120 and 220 Film | A spool for four film formats

When you’re preparing to develop film in a tank, the spool needs to suit the film you’re working with. This Kaiser film spool is intended for developing tank use with 135, 126, 120 and 220 film. It’s a darkroom accessory for photographers who develop their own film and want a spool specified for one of those formats. The format names make it straightforward to compare the spool with the film in your workflow. Its appeal is simple: a clearly stated role and a defined range of film formats. If one of those formats is part of your regular developing, this is the Kaiser spool to consider. The most useful check is the format itself; match it to the film you plan to develop before choosing your darkroom accessories.

For a small darkroom setup, it helps to choose accessories by the job they’re meant to do. This one belongs with the developing-tank part of the process, rather than being a general-purpose darkroom item. That gives it a specific place in a film-developing workflow: pair the spool’s stated purpose with the tank-based work you do. There’s no need to make the decision more complicated than that. Start with the film you use, then look for a spool whose stated formats match it. The Kaiser name and the product description identify the intended role, so you can focus on whether it fits the film you’re developing.
