Kaiser Flitskabel 5m Red

Kaiser Flitskabel 5m Red | Give your flash more room

A flash can be awkward to position when its cable doesn’t reach where you want to work. The Kaiser Flitskabel gives you a five-metre cable run, so you have more room to arrange a flash away from the point where the cable connects. It’s a straightforward option for photographers who need a longer flash cable and prefer to spot their cable easily: this one is red. That colour can be handy when you’re packing up or tracing the cable across a busy work area. The honest point is that length and colour are the only details we can establish here, so this isn’t a cable to choose on appearance alone. If those details suit your setup, it offers a simple way to put more space between your flash and its connection point.

Think about the cable run

Before choosing a cable, consider the route it needs to take, not just the straight-line distance between two points. A cable may need to pass around furniture, along a stand or across part of your working area, and that can use up some of the available run. Keeping that route in mind helps you judge whether a five-metre cable is a sensible length for the way you work. The red colour also gives you a visible cue when you’re arranging or gathering your gear. For a setup that calls for a flash cable, the Kaiser is a simple, clearly identifiable option; the key is making sure its cable length suits the space and placement you have in mind.
