Kaiser Pro Disk II White Balans Filter 90mm
Kaiser Pro Disk II White Balans Filter 90mm | A practical aid for setting white balance
The 90 mm size defines this white balance filter’s format: it gives you a specific reference piece to work with when setting colour balance in camera. The Kaiser Pro Disk II is for photographers who want their images to start from a more dependable white balance, rather than correcting every frame by eye afterwards. It’s especially relevant for still-life, product and interior photography, where a consistent colour rendition helps a series of images feel cohesive. Use it as part of your camera’s custom white balance process under the lighting you’ll use for the picture, then keep that lighting consistent as you shoot. This is a focused tool, not a general-effect colour filter: its purpose is to help establish white balance. The supplied colour is black. For photographers who regularly repeat a setup, it offers a defined way to make white balance part of the capture process.
Specialist Note
Photographers making product pictures or carefully arranged still lifes are the people I’d point towards this Kaiser. Set your camera’s custom white balance under the same light you’ll use for the subject, and it can help keep the colours in a sequence more consistent. The 90 mm size gives you a clear physical reference when planning where it fits into your working setup; it isn’t a number to treat as a camera-mount specification. Its black colour is also handy for recognising the filter among your kit, though the colour alone doesn’t tell you how it will render a scene. One practical limit: white balance can’t make different light sources match each other, so keep the lighting steady when colour consistency matters.
